Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif has requested a complete international strategy for dealing with the difficult task of rebuilding and rehabilitating flood-affected areas. In his opening speech at the International Conference on Climate Resilient Infrastructure in Geneva, he concluded that we need a new lifeline to sustain our economy and move into the 21st century with a future free from hazards which pose threats to national security.
